We are sitting on a mooring in Savusavu, Fiji immersing in the cruising lifestyle again. We’ve attended numerous social events and dinners, two seminars, looked into local diving, gone snorkeling nearby, kayaked up the bay, visited Labasa overnight (3 hours each way on an antique bus), and explored Savusavu town and markets. In other words, we’ve been busy!
There is enough rain in the forecast over the next few days we should be able to get the website up to date. Today, we have a quick “special interest” update for anyone curious about our new genset installation and experience so far.
Our current plan is to leave Savusavu on the weekend or early next week and go out to visit some of the surrounding villages and anchorages. We will explore this area for a little while, then return to the Mamanucas and Musket Cove. That’s all for now!
